His Majesty King Felipe VI received a delegation from the Board of Trustees of Camilo José Cela University at the Palacio de La Zarzuela, on the occasion of the university’s 25th anniversary.
The delegation was led by Nieves Segovia, President of SEK Education Group and Chair of the university’s Board of Trustees, who conveyed the gratitude of the university community to the King on this particularly significant occasion for the institution.

Camilo José Cela University will open its new Campus UCJC – Madrid Norte next academic year, a space specialising in Vocational Education and Training, located on Calle Lezama in the north of the capital.
The new campus will cover more than 2,400 square metres across five floors and will have capacity for 750 students. It will be dedicated to programmes in Computing and Communications, Business Administration and Management, and Commerce and Marketing, alongside specialist áreas such as Cybersecurity and Big Data.
Miguel Valderrábano is a former pupil of SEK International School El Castillo and is currently Director of the Division of Cardiac Electrophysiology at the Michael E. DeBakey Cardiovascular Centre, within the Department of Cardiology at Houston Methodist Hospital. He is also the “Lois and Carl Davis Centennial” Chair and a professor
of medicine at the Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University.
